I wrote this song on a trip to Spain in 2004. I had just proposed to my wife Carolyn in San Sebatian. We were in Madrid visiting my old friend Luis Neirda Ramos. We all went to this Egyptian temple given to Spain by the Egyptian Government and watched the sun set. Afterwards, we went back to Luis' place, drank wine, and we sketched out this tune, originanally called "En Ramblas" after the street he lived on. Upon returning from our trip I recorded the song as a demo to send back to Luis, but ended up editing the rough tracks to use on "Petting Zoo". We added the bass and cajon later and Tweedie layered on some reverb to give it the asthetic of an old Segovia record. Disfruta!
