WE will review your songs and I will make suggestions about form and arrangement. Then we will schedule sessions, and if you need musicians I will call my A-list. Then comes the fun part, we get in the studio and make magic happen!

There area lot of talented knob twisters and music makers in the world but many of them have not been on both sides of the mic. My journey has taken me from the stage, to notebook, to the studio and back again. I wear many hats, and they all fit. The cost of a recording project can vary widely depending on the number of songs and depth of arrangement. I have an hourly rate of $60 and can estimate your total project cost based on all the variables. the important thing is we discuss your ideas and expectations so you feel comfortable with the budget before we begin.

Stems are created after the mix process so that you can recall and rebalance a mix without needing. the session file. They are typically groups of stereo files organized by instruments and categories. A mix engineer can create stems if requested.
Tracks, which are commonly referred to as stems, are all of the individual and time aligned multitracks files for your whole song. These are typicall provided to a mix engineer when recording is done.

You can send me files via DropBox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, Snail Mail or Carrier Pigeon (not really!). If you are in the neighborhood you can drop them off.

While AI can do an OK job mastering a song some of the time, the truth is music is highly emotional and an emotionally intelligent human being with a professional skillset is your best option when finishing a recording project that is deeply personal. Human use feelings to create art, not algorithms.
